Re: Happy Days are here again.
Brian, your dedication to your pursuits and background knowledge of all that excites your interests is truly delightful to share. Here is a photo of Fletcher Christian with his hand over his mouth when I was with him at Cascades, Norfolk Island in 1949. At the time he was about to go to New Zealand and wrote on a slip of paper the address of his uncle Virgil Christian whom he was going to stay with there. I saw it the other day and when it comes to light again i will send you a copy. It may be relevant to those you know. During my trips there I was platonic friends with a young lady descendant of one of the mutineers - no names and certainly just a couple of teenagers, and we wrote to each other for quite a while after I rejoined the British MN.
Cheers, Richard

Re: Happy Days are here again.
Many thanks for those wonderful pictures Richard.
A great memory of long ago.
Here are two decendents of the Bounty,
Manuraii Young, decended from Mr Midshipman Edward Young who took a Tahitian wife with him to Pitcairns. he is stood by the rock on Matavai Bay in Tahiti which is a memorial to the Bounty with the names of all the crew, With Me, and the Decendent of Fletcher Christian Jaqui Christian,
Pitcairns Island and them Richard and me in Sydney.
Cheers
Brian

Re: Happy Days are here again.
The uncertainty of the wait can at times be worse than the result. Just hope it is a good one mate. Hang in there and remember, never ever give up!
