Re: Cancer news
Oh well, **** happens. Thought it was going to be bad news when they brought my appointment forward and so it was. Cancer is back in the bones (ribs) again. Two positives are that it at least explains the back pain I have been getting and also that due to the full bone scan it shows that it is isolated to that one spot. Started on the morphine yesterday to contain the pain until I can get more radio. Getting old sucks!Better than the alternative I guess!:-)

Good luck with the treatment Gordon. Hope all goes well.
I have just increased my Monthly donations to Cancer Research UK . they do a good job of improving cures.
All the best .

Re: Cancer news
Best of luck, modern medicine is much ad vanced today, and at least they seem to have detected early enough to treat, so wishing you all the best, and hang on in there, as you say, old age sucks KT

Re: Cancer news
Well me old shipmates, taken a couple of weeks but today is the first day I have felt like a human being again. Back pain gone so hopefully off the morphine tomorrow. Time to get back into society and stop the 16 hours a day in my sh**cart!!!!
