I can't seem to be able to keep up with what is happening in the world today, it seems we have gone back to the 1930s. Tribal fighting in Africa, the war in Palestine, disruption in Europe over migrants, the same in the States, there doesn't seem to be one country in South America that hasn't any political infighting going on, the never ending war between Russia and Ukraine, and [extreme right wing parties,] whatever that means meeting in Spain. Wish I had a cristal ball.

A lot of it commences with illegal immigration Des and the stupid politicians who made the accompanying easily broken laws to go with it. They are usually the root cause of most disaffections You don’t put lions and tigers in the same cage , why mix people with different spiritual needs. Then you have the usual head workers in any community looking to cause strife and any benefits to themselves especially if they seek power above others. The present world wide problems with its local fiascos a lot of this was self inflicted after the war , the UN is not a united world there are many countries outside of the regulations they made supposedly for the world. They have been disaffected from the end of the last world hostilities. In lots of ways Trump speaks as many others think as a way of righting many wrongs of the past. Whether he succeeds or not remains to be seen as maybe too belicose in his attitude he puts across. A wheeler and dealer is maybe what is needed. JS

Much of what is going on now is not new.
Many years long past news came in the form of the daily paper with only the radio to go with it.

Now we can watch it happen, but agree the world is in a mess.

But look at many countries such as Pakistan, India and many mid eastern ones.
Half the population is still living the same way they did centuries long past, no improvement in life style.
Much of this is the result of religious zealots who use their power to control the masses.
Females kept down by them, only men allowed to have the say.

But in many instances the females now see what is there in the other countries and are beginning to rebel.
Where will it all end, when some nutter such as rocket man presses the button and it will be good night nurse for all.

You only have to venture into the East End of London to catch a glimpse of how the UK will look in the future, and for native English people it's not nice.
I have friends I worked with, or lived near, that are Asian or of Asian decent, and most of them expressed how unhappy they were with the way living there was changing. Many moved out to Essex to escape living an Asian life.
All of my relatives still live there and hate it. I moved out when it started to happen, and thank God I did, but it's spreading pretty fast now as London expands.
Most of the pubs I knew, don't exist any more. They've been turned into foreign establishments, to suit the local population.

Some may see this post as a racist comment, but it's not. It's a true description of how things are, not an opinion.

Regarding post #5. If that is deemed racist then I must also be racist. How the feck have we become so scared of voicing the truth today just because some sensitive anus hole does not like it. When starting out in Australia was the butt of many pommy jokes and to be honest found most of them quite funny and also allowed be to reciprocate back at them. In fact made many friends doing just that. Not sure if this is correct. There was a caption from "It aint half hot mum" that struck me as being so true. Sergeant saying to the university private? Well mister lardy da it is not the village idiot that starts the wars, It is the university educated ones that do.

I was practically tearing my hair out when our Govt gave Trump a cheque for $800 million as down payment for two Nuclear subs, until my wife pointed out we wont be here when they are delivered in about 25 years.
