Various Fears
Fear... an experts view on......In some people fear can become overwhelming and irrational , leading to mental disorders that prevent sufferers leading a normal life.
Phobias are unreasonable fears of particular things such as spiders, crowds, or closed spaces. Just to see if Graham S can find any spelling mistakes or too many letters..
Agoraphobics.. afraid to leave the house.
Algophobia...an abnormal dread of pain.
Lyssophobia.... a pathological fear of insanity or of rabies
Nyctophobia...a fear of night or darkness
Ophidiophobia.a fear of snakes
Panophobia.... a pathological fear of everything
Photophobia ... a fear of light
Thanatophobia...a pathological fear of death.
Hands up who has any of these problems ? JS

A full house was known as Syphilis, Boo Boo and the clap.

Re: Various Fears
Always thought it was Simplex named after the original bicycle gear and said to be transmitted through the saddle, Guns introduced by Samuel Colt and through certain models of his colt 45. and the ever present crayfish found mainly in southern waters. They are still arguing about the source of Aids. However one should be well protected today by wearing a face mask. The crays only get dangerous if caught clinging to your eyebrows, in an emergency pull the facemask over the eyes. If driving pull over to the side of the road first. Cheers JS
