A year last november i put in a new gas boiler as the old one was some 30 years or so old my bills for end quarter feb were


2019 was ..356 quid


2020 was ..480 quid

2021 was..275 quid

2022 was 387 quid

this last bill is the least gas ever used by approx 200 kilowats
this of course before the big rises forecast

Mine is now 10 years old, and if this daft idea of not making gas boilers in or after 2030?, goes ahead, i will have a new one fitted in 2029, and that will see me out. Thats assuming i,m still here in 2029 lol. kt

Dont have Gas Boiler here but also fitted a New Gas Heater in Roof and 8 outlets from Ceiling, great Heater , a bit smaller than the old one that was there for some 20 Years. So hope we get similar out of this one ! Gas usga eis also down like you cappy, so well worth the new Install!

Like Vernon we had a new heater fitted, old one some 27 years old.
This on e is far more efficient.

But just down the roaod from us according to a neighbor there is a real old boiler, gives her hubby all manner of problems.

Just on replacements , had to have the one side Dividing Fence Replaced last Week, as the old one was falling down LOL
Will also now have the other side done , just waiting on install date!
The one that is done cost me $6000 , all Hardwood and Metal Posts Concreted in at 600mm with each using 30kg Concrete Mix! 60 Meters Long and 1.5 M High (6 Foot)

The other is costing $8000 as we are paying it all, young neighbour is a bit strapped for cash. A bit cheaper as its 40 Meters Long and 1.2 High same Materials.

Down here in Victoria al fence posts are timber, was at one time Red Gum but now just hard wood.
Had all mine replaced last year at a cost to me of $750 for some 35 meters as my share, rest paid by insurance company due to builders stuffing up next door.
The other bit, on a corner block, cost some $3,500 for 18 meters as council do not pay their half share on fences.
