Titanic Fireman Discharge book restored
On BBC 1 tonight, on the program “The Repair Shop”, a fireman from the Titanic, who saved 68 in a lifeboat, had his replacement Discharge Book restored back to its original state, I saw the program and was moved by how well the restoration was done.

It was great - apart from the fact that it was constantly referred to as a ' Log Book'.

Hi Bill.
I have watched some of those restorations on TV out here, it is brilliant what those people can achieve with their skills.

There was a program on SBS the other night,
'Hidden secrets of the Titanic'
I would have thought by now all there was to know was found out years ago.
