Re: Understanding
#8 very well said Ivan and only one spelling mistake , you’ve spelt Pirf wrong it’s Perf , and the RAF although spelt right is the wrong country it’s the RAAF. Cappy only puts legs in bottles because it gives him an excuse to empty the bottles . Cheers JS

I’m going to bed good night , getting too old to keepup. Cheers JS.
Had to get up to go to the toilet and was thinking about your post #8 Ivan where your spelling was incorrect. Had a look at the iPad which was recharging and thought did you ever remember one of the real learnings from the council school “ I before E except after C ) that’s one of the reasons I always say correctly the word Queer right. Now the speaking of this word maybe unlawful in some people’s mind ,I think in the regions of education it may be O.K. Back to bed !!! JS.

#14 On a serious note the professional make up artists must be unable to work now with the mask rules in place.
We have been through the worst, things can only get better. Can't remember who sang that, was it Kinnock or Blair?

Things can only get better.
Things Can Only Get Better" is a song by Northern Irish musical group D:Ream. Used it as a theme the campaign in the general election of 1997.

Also remember many old proverbs at school like 'A bird in the hand is worth two in the bush' however I prefer the version I learnt at sea 'A hand in the bird is worth two in the bush'

Re: Understanding
#20 is that Mrs. Harold Wilson’s gardener , the one you bought in Port Said Cappy. You must know that one off word for word by now. JS.
#21. He also said John “ A man who flies upside down will have crack up” , will have to bring that one up at the pilots safety meeting if they have one in the village.
