Re: XMAS, or LOCK DOWN JANUARY, Your thoughts.
The last time we spent Christmas/New Year at home cocky was still in the egg.
It is so long I cannot remember when.
Always away and for the last 12 on a cruise.
But as restrictions are lifting here we will be taking to the road and driving to Adelaide for Christmas to see some friends, then up to NSW for new year.
For all concerned I hope that no matter your circumstances you make the best of what you can given the current situation.
You ae all resourceful men and ladies so I know you will find a way.
Look forward to 2021 in a positive frame of mind, from all we hear there will be a Vaccine early in the new year, we will not be beaten down by this situation, we are strong and will remain so.
Stay happy and safe, enjoy what you have and keep fit.
As to keeping fit I must tell you what happened to me.
I decided to do some push ups to get fit, got down on the floor.
The Ambos who got me back on my feet said i should start with something a bit lighter.
So I laid on the floor with one leg in the air, no good I lost my balance.
Tried both legs and arms in the sir at once, her in doors said she had seen a dead cow in a paddock looking like that.
But have now found an exercise all can do, the pick up and put down one.
Pick up a bottle, pour into a glass then put down.
Pick up glass and drink then put down.
This will assist in increasing the power of the Biceps.
It can be done standing or sitting and at any time if day or night.
However, beware, too much of this exercise may see the Ambos back at your place.

Happy daze John in Oz.
Life is too short to blend in.

Re: XMAS, or LOCK DOWN JANUARY, Your thoughts.
i have been in lockdown since the end of march apart from cancer clinics even worse the phone we changed took a month from one provider to the next as we only get doctors results over the phone it was a pain in the .... but all is ok now i should get results sometime today if my latest treatment has worked or not regards lockdown there fas been many in our area that have passed away with this virus so it would be wise to keep the distancing and a question has china took any responsibility for killing thousands? jp

Re: XMAS, or LOCK DOWN JANUARY, Your thoughts.
What strikes me as odd especially by the press is the lack of real information re the origins of the disease such as it is. First of all is it a man made virus ? I may have missed this I don’t know. Has the source really been traced. It would be nice to know some reasonably true facts , or have people been told to not say too much. The virus itself must my now have been well and truly diagnosed , split up into all the components of the germ . If there has been more information on the subject I must have missed it. JS

Re: XMAS, or LOCK DOWN JANUARY, Your thoughts.
I have been thinking long and hard about Christmas. It has been a tough year for my kids with their mum dying so unexpectedly. I would like to spend some time with them and the grandkids. I am also not a big fan of Christmas but enjoy watching the younger ones ripping the wrapping paper off their presents then playing with the boxes they came in. With a vaccine being so close is it worth taking a chance?
I could break my non drinking rule, buy a bottle of good brandy and watch tv with my four legged best mate.
Still can't decide, I will leave it for a while and see how I feel in the coming weeks.

If you have doubts Louis listen to medical advice, they are still the ones who come nearest to the truth, it’s their job, and most make a good job of it. Merry Xmas in advance. JW

#15... John in Oz. I had a good idea for exercise but my wife is having none of it. She demands I keep a metre distant , and afraid am not that good. This virus has a lot to answer for. At least birth control for the younger ones should be no problem . Cheers JS
