Doc
As we go through life we often complain when things go wrong, but often forget to give thanks when thigs go well.
Our Doc I have know for many years now, being a South African from Cape Town gives him an edge over others for me.
He has gone through a lot over the last year or so, Heart Problems, now hearing and Eyes.
But with all this going on he still gives so much to this site.
His willingness to assist in finding information for those who need is admirable to say the least.
It must at times be tough with his eyes not being the best, but he continues in the great work he does.
Vernon mate, long may you continue doing the stirling work you do, not just in research but also as a moderator, not easy at the best of time with us lot.
AS we say here in Oz, your blood's worth bottling.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Doc
Doc Vernon, Is one of life's nice guys, He always answers any Email p.m. and most requests from visitor's that come aboard seeking help. In fact if it wasn't for Vern, This forum wouldn't have as many members. He has obviously been around the block both at sea and ashore. And this is certainly no obituary to him, Long may he go on All the best Vern, Good health to you Terry.

Aw~~~ Shucks Lads , now i am blushing!
Thank you all (and John for starting this) it is quite Humbling to read all the good and kind words , and i really appreciate it. Honest!!
I wont say too much on this but Yes i do have issues, but as always in my Life i try very hard to put things aside, and just get on with it all. As said i have seen and been through much in my life, but thank the Lord still here!
I will continue to try where and when i can to assist those that need help, hopefully it will still be for quite some time, but????
All the very best to one and ALL.
My Sincere Thanks once again
Cheers

Re: Doc
Not only does our Vernon do all this, he also finds time to play Golf, take his lovely wife t the station each morning, getting up very early, and cook dinner.
The site he just does in his spare time. LOL
