Vernon, you could do what we do.
We have the ducted heating which is fine but we also have a very large log burner.
Spent almost two hours yesterday putting two tonnes of fire wood away in the wood shed.
Woke up a bit stiff this morning but once up it soon went.

Re: It never rains but................
Thanks for the Concern John however the place that they have put the old Heater is over the Garage Area and that Section is very Strong the old Unit is sitting on the Two Beams looks very safe but will again go up and have another look just to make sure!
Although as you say the removal may have been in the price, there s a clause therein, that says "Removal of old Unit if Feasible" so i think that it covers them.
I doubt very much if that Unit would cause any harm, as its sat up there in the Roof where it was for some 23 Years! And as said the spot it now sits looks even better!
Cheers
Very happy with the Unit and have had it on at 22 Degrees, the House is lovely!

Good Vernon with the news.
Nothing beats something that works as it should.
Hear it gets bit cold up your way in winter, 22 sounds about right though.
