Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
Those that have litres of hand wash at home
Should realise that to slow the transmission of
COVID-19 All the others need to wash hands also.
Some people are not shaking hands because of the Coronavirus.
I’m not shaking hands because everyone is out of toilet paper.

Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
The value of shares in one of our supermarkets is well up, so is the sale of toilet rolls, rice, sugar, flour, pasta and cat litter??
But there is a solution, firstly use both sides of the paper, only use in dire situations, not regularly as some do.
At a farmers market at the week end one man was selling them for $10 each with a free bale of hay to go with it.
But a Plumber I know is doing very well from all of this.
Some have resorted to using kitchen rolls and even news paper which clogs up the sewerage pipes, call out fee to unblock $150.
But be warned, using newspapers can give you a very severe dose of Adds.

Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
All advice here was it would be all over in weeks or it did not exist, more concerned
as it is happening now is: All you idiots rushing around the Supermarkets bulk buying
pasta, toilet roll, baked beans, paracetamol and hand sanitiser ask yourself this question.
When was the last time the handle of one of these ‘Trolley’s or baskets were cleaned?

I booked my car in for two new tyres. No new tyres coming into the country from China. Check your depth of tread as you do not want to be caught with illegal tyres and a shortage of supply. Probably more important than stocking the cupboards etc.

Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
ASs to the trolleys in supermarkets, not sure how you cope in UK.
But here in Oz the major ones have disinfectant wipes in a dispenser by the trolleys with a notice to that effect.
The handles can be wiped.
Once a month a company come into one of the majors and steams all the trolleys, been going on since I worked for them back in the 80's.

Possibly, only similar:
As Australian scientists try to learn more about how the deadly COVID-19 spreads - and develop a vaccine to stop the new global threat - a group of health professionals have detailed the public places you should be wary about coming into contact with. Supermarket trolleys, keys and ATMs: Health experts reveal the public places COVERED in germs amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
My first meeting with a bidet was many moons ago in Buenos Aires of all places. I had spent part of the night in a motel for not unusual reasons. On going into a the bathroom I stood over what I thought was a toilet bowl and turning the valve which I thought was the flush got immediately squirted in the eye by a jet of water. Shows my lack of knowledge of the finer things in life. Pleased no one saw this occurrence. JS

Re: No Toilet Rolls, Get yours free ?
Bidet is a French word for pony, while in Old French the word means “to trot.”
Found at a recent house party, a bidet is also a great place to ice beers:
