###watched the new series warship on tele last night .....must say the woman commander was an excellent advert for equality in todays world ...clear concise and very much on top of the job in my view she was excactly what is required in a naval warship ..the food looked excellent but must say the ratings bunks were a joke no doubt air conditioned but tighter than any i ever sailed on .....surely a case of knowing your place .....not a place to be if you cant stand women giving you orders ...must say she was really in command ....have seen some in merchant ships who could have learned from her....but then i regard women as equals in my world not subordinates......cappy
