Re: I wish to god ? this government
As Cappy says John, battle not lost yet, this apparently has to go to parliament to be agreed, but also as you say, if we don't get some sort of deal, the Tories are dead. She has to fight, kt

Re: I wish to god ? this government
Just heard Boris Johnson dramatically quit today
as Theresa May faces a few hours that could make
or break her premiership.

Re: I wish to god ? this government
Latest.
The pound has fallen against the dollar and the euro after Boris Johnson resigned as Foreign Secretary.
Sterling fell half a cent against the dollar to trade at $1.3257. Against the euro, it fell back to €1.1273.
The pound had been in positive territory after investors bet Brexit Secretary David Davis's departure meant a "softer" Brexit was more likely.
But analysts warned sterling was likely to fall further if Mr Johnson launched a leadership challenge to Theresa May.

Not yet Terry, the Brits don't give in that easily, we fought em once we fought em twice, and no doubt we will again. My ref to Lewis was really not to continue the spat with Cappy, we are all happy chappies at the moment, kt

Keith, I dont support this government i am not stirring anything up, Its there end i refer to that is inevitable, They should have had a brexit deal signed and sealed months ago instead of all the internal wrangling. There will inevitably be more that will now jump ship. Terry.

Re: I wish to god ? this government
Terry, belive me , i don't support any political party, my problem is, show me a workable alternative. I think things will develop big time in the next few days, who knows??, but i do know that 17.5 million let their feeling known , they do not like the European set up, and if they had listened and actioned with David Cameron's requests, there would never have been a referendum, just a very humble opinion, kt
