    Default Albert Dock Liverpool.

The Albert Dock has been granted Royal status by the Queen it will now be known as the Royal Albert Dock Liverpool,it has to have the Liverpool at the end as there is already a Royal Albert Dock in London.

No Vernon it was just the plain old Albert Dock,I think that you mentioned one time that you went to the Maritime Museum,if you did you were on the Albert Dock.

Hey Jim, I doubt it would have been given this status if that Duckmarine Yellow Peril had started sinking with HM on board - the poor Queen putting a brave face on it and the D of E does not look happy - they would have had a fit if they could have looked a few weeks into the future and seen the very same DUKW she was on, heading for the bottom of the dock Became a bit of a habit before they got banned.

Yes Chris HM and the Duke were lucky they never came to Liverpool a few weeks later and had a ride on that DUKW,imagine if that had happened, disaster,it does'nt bear thinking about.
As the New cruise terminal is not to far away you can imagine the Yanks coming ashore and seeing Royal Albert Dock they will be rushing in there hoping to see the Royal Family.

Congratulations to Albert Dock on their new Royal title - henceforth known as Royal Albert Dock. We can't think of a better place to belong and be part of. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-englan...yside-44368901
