Reality at last
This is the reality of what we contribute to the EU, 16% !!!!!, and now they are beginning to see why we want out. They are running an outfit they cannot afford, and bear in mind Greece, italy, spain etc, their debts have not gone away, kt

Re: Reality at last
I'm with you on that one JP, tell them to get stuffed. I see that they are still pushing after we go for the EU court of human rights to have a say in Europeans living and working here , again, get stuffed, we are an independent country once we leave, kt

Re: Reality at last
If the EU wants any money when we leave I have a spare penny, but I want change.
When we leave why should we dual laws, would the EU accept any other countries laws imposed on its citizens? No they wouldn't.
Poor Germany will have to fork out more.

Vic

Re: Reality at last
And who would have thought that Scotland or should i say the biggest voted for party north of the boarder the S.N.P. would be hell bent on keeping an alliance with this bunch of looser,s. G.B, Or even a part of it will be a much better place the hell out of it, I have said for the last couple of years the E.U. Is crumbling, It will be in a worse position once we negotiate our exit. Re: Reality at last
I have sent letters to May and Davis telling them to say , we have paid in full, with the blood of a million Britons.
and also we want Germany to repay us Billions of pounds for all the bomb damage in the Blitz for rebuilding our towns and cities, also I want paying for our house that was blown up with an extra amount for stress.
Not received an answer yet.

Re: Reality at last
Neither side of politics has distinguished themselves in the past 20 years or so , and did a nose dive since and during the Bliar era. The former PM Cameron was a dead loss he got in on promises of a referendum and will always be known as dragging his heels for far too long. If had done so within the first 12 months things might of been different. He lost all credibility because of this and this was a sore point at the time on this site. Politicians are not worth falling out over they are all a lot of self seeking people and the good of the country comes second to most of their own individual lifestyles. One of many of the reasons they lose power is by the military. Venezuela will be the next country to fall to the military for a few years until it finds its equiliibrium again. The uk is different only because we are a country which is different than most and has as head of state the King or Queen, they have no legal power as such, however if they weren't there see how long the people would put up with a self proposed president. All the bull crap at present being put out by the press about the Queens so called rise is just that and would if I had my way be called sedition. Can anyone in their right mind a president May or President Corbyn the other weird one. Bears not even entertaining. JWS

Re: Reality at last
Lewis all those figures are incomprehensible to the ordinary man and are changing daily if not hourly to interests only and all that is creamed by the dishonest and is to minute to notice . There will be more skulduggery and thieving going on which will be untraceable. Just an Aladdins cave of delights an entrenapaurs nirvana. They are bullcrap there to indulge the common man and make him think he is being kept in the picture. Spain Portugal and Greece are more than likely more honest and show no figures because they don't have any and are being supported by others called a united Europe , isn't that the way it's supposed to go, same as the 3 musketeers , or Lenin and Trotsky. I can live with any debt that the country has, and any type of government, the least I would insist on is that they provide law and order and protection of its citizens, and all I require on a personal note is they don't try and steal my money that I have worked for. Any government that can do that gets my vote. Cheers JWS
