Quite simple really. The West paye lip service to all of this by doing as little as it can.

If the West did all it could these people would become physically strong, then political strong and pose a threat to the West.

So leave the bloody tap where it is!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Legal Recruitment: Overpaid Charity CEOs - top 20 of highest paid employees

You may be surprised just how much the CEO of some so called Charities are on.

Royal National Lifeboat Institution £130k-£140k, Vice Admiral Paul Boissier, I wonder what his RN pension is a month
*Royal British Legion £130k-£140k Director General Charles Byrne

#14, I stopped giving to charities a couple of years ago for this reason cappy, the top dogs get paid all this money simply for
who they are, not for what they do. The Administrator's of most charities will take a huge sum from the donations given to
the charity concerned, as they are all very well paid executive career people, I was quite surprised at the amount they take,
I will always buy a poppy for remembrance day but other than that it's all in my will, cheers John F

I only donate to Cancer Research UK, by direct debit from my bank,
don't know if it is a rip off but at least they get some life saving results, I have had it a couple of times and cured.
    Cheers

#15, John, Rob Page posted an excellent detailed account a while back [cannot find it] of the amount some CEO charity bosses earned it was diabolical all well known including Oxfam, Salvation Army etc. 'Tis soul destroying reading through the list that Lewis supplied

#17, I think charities may have started out as what they were meant to be Marian but it's the same old story, the opportunist
see their chance to make money then they get greedy and what was a charity has becomes a business. In my experience I
found that once they thought you were fair game, they hound you for more and more,I was inundated with pleas that could
be classed as emotional blackmail and I had enough of it and called it a day. The charities in my will are all connected to me
in one way or another and are all for research into the ailments concerned, Cancer research, Meningitis research and Alzheimer
research, all close to my heart, cheers. John F

My post concerning Charity CEO pay scales may surprise a few here as I am not stirring the Merde but just thought I would point out what some of these folk earn.
I will relate a story about the RNLI. But before I do may I point out I have the greatest respect for the boat crews, or rather those that are in the RNLI for the right reasons.
I have a friend who was the Coxswian of our local boat on Wirral. He has now had to stand down as he is over the age limit. The RNLI approached him and asked if he would like to work for them full time in a training roll. Good move by the RNLI why lose all those years of experience. He took early retirement from his day job so he said yes. His job was to go around the country visiting Life boat stations and giving talks etc!. The RNLI gave him a salary £26,000 a year. They also provided him with a company car as he would need one for the travelling!!!! it was a BMW 3 series, what would have been wrong with a Ford or Vauxhall ?
Also our local boat (Hoylake) decided that they needed a new lifeboat station as the old one was cold and damp, so the RNLI rattled there cans and a new station was built £2 million that cost, they also decided that a new memorial was needed to honour a Hoylake lifeboat crew that was lost in 1810. For some reason the Bronze plaque that was in the old station was no longer deemed suitable, cost of the new one which stands outside the new £2million boat station was £35,000. I got a knock on my door one afternoon a couple of years ago and it was a woman collecting money for a new Shannon class lifeboat which was now required for the New £2million station. I say collecting she was practically demanding a £25.00 donation. I declined and said the only charities I gave to was Claire House a children's hospice here on Wirral. She stormed off in a huff. I still have my home in Hoylake which is directly behind the old life boat station. The old lifeboat station was turned into a lifeboat museum and was a registered charity as well. It has now been forced to close. The building at that time was owned by Peel holdings (Duke of Westminster) and they rented the station out for a rent of 1 peppercorn. Peel holdings off loaded the building to a private company and they then increased the rent so it became impossible to run economically. Beside the station there is a piece of land owned by the local council and during the summer months the museum used to have tables setup and serve teas coffees and snacks etc!. The council decided that they would withdraw permission for the sale of refreshments so this put the final nail in the coffin of the museum. Why did the council decide to pull the rug from under, well rumour has it that the RNLI put in an objection to the museum as it was having an adverse effect on the monies being collected during the open lifeboat day held every year on Hoylake Promenade. Sorry but the RNLI is the most over subscribed charity in the country. This may sound strange coming from someone who spent all his working life at sea.

You only have to see the HQ of RNLI in Poole to see where the money goes, but all the foregoing is peanuts compared to what the WFP (World Food Programme) with HQ in Rome officials and secretaries are paid from our taxes, even secretaries are paid the equivalent of £70,000 per year plus expenses, plus subsidised accommodation in Rome, plus cars, pension schemes and business class travel, with double that for run of the mill managers (there are scores of them) with all the pluses and first class travel when available. Very difficult to reach their local offices (weekends a definite no-no) in Sudan, Ethiopia, Sierre Leone and numerous other countries I worked in when trying to get their aid cargoes moving, but nothing will change
