terrible memory
I find at my age my memory is getting quite bad, but i feel really sorry for the politicians and civil servants, it must be the stress of the job, because their memory is much much worse than mine. They keep forgetting things when they claim expenses etc, and now the deputy governer of the Bank of England has been afflicted with the same memory loss, ms Hogg forgot to declare her brothers interest, not only on her application form, but in her interview was asked if the family had any interest to declare, again her memory failed, poor soul. I have just read her resignation letter, she says she is resigning in case the public lose trust in them !!!, dont worry about that my dear, trust went years ago, kt

Re: terrible memory
When entering any parliament the new members must undergo a special operation. It is a form of brain surgey to remove thta part which is capable of telling the truth.
Known as a Liabotomy it is done in the back room away from public gaze.
Once completed it is almost impossible to repair and will continue in another form when they leave the parliament.
A classic case is a man by the name of Blair, who now thinks he is the second coming!

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: terrible memory
The lady in question who has a very bad memory and is prone to making mistakes is a member of the Hogg family. Her father Douglass Hogg aka Viscount Hailsham had his snout in the trough for over 30 years as a Tory politician , he will be best remembered for claiming expenses for having his moat cleaned and his famous duck house built.
With such fine pedigree she will soon be back climbing the greasy pole unless she manages to hook a multi millionaire first .
