Quest TV
In the past we have all criticised Mighty Ships for its blunders and rightly so.
Just watched salvage hunters, he travelled from his base in Wales to Aberdeen, bought 4 pairs of cinema type seats amongst other things. We saw him loading his van, travelled to the village of Rothes, bought more goods, came to load van, van was empty.
Arrived back at his base in Wales and lo and behold all the goods that he bought at Aberdeen were on the back of the van- magic?
Regards
Vic

Re: Quest TV
Continuity as we knew it in the old days is dead, nowadays people are playing with their phones whilst watching movies or other programmes, and it's only us old codgers who don't multi task who notice these things, or the inane remarks that are made by some real life programmes, too numerous to mention, although one on 'Real Crime' makes me wonder about the intelligence of some police officers, upon discovery of a body with seven bullet holes in its back, a trooper remarks 'our lead detective has said this looks like a homicide but we cannot rule out suicide at this stage'

Keystone cops Ivan ?? I will be going to the doctors in an hours time and in the waiting room know already what to expect, a lot of people of every age group sitting like zombies playing with their mobiles. I will probably be the only one sitting there staring into space. JS

You sometimes wonder John, just watched a programme on aircraft crash in which an investigator told the reporters there were no survivors, and a reporter asked 'do you think it will get any worse' and the investigator replied 'I don't see how, but if you do let me know' I bet that reporter wished she had kept quiet

Re: Quest TV
That's about the intelligence of the average reporter Ivan, makes one wonder on educational standards today without the lack of morals that some of these people have when harrying the relatives of those dead. I will always believe them to be a pack of shylocks until they show a sense of decency in any of their reporting. Worldwide their reporting of the Pres. of the USA has been shocking and just shows what morals they have themselves are non existing. People who didn't vote for him must be feeling a sense of shame that their leading citizen should come under such brutal attacks. I voted on here for him to attend the UK and had a reply yesterday from the Govt. that he would be getting invited to the UK and gave the numbers of UK voters saying yes to his visit. The No voters you can bet your bottom dollar the amounts will be by more than ever illegal immigrants with names like Ali Bonga. plus of course all the bleeding hearts. Wonder how many Valentine Cards they got yesterday. Cheers JS

Re: Quest TV
We had a cruise ship in distress towed back to Port Melbourne on Sunday.
Then the TV report, all about the boat, not ship, to the extent that I ended up screaming at the TV, 'it is a ship you bloody moron, not a boat'.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Quest TV
Hi Vic.
Did it say how many drinks he had before and after loading his van, probably lucky he got home alive.
On plan crashes. we watched the rerun of the plan crash that killed the Duke of Kent. My father-in-law worked on the very seaplane, in the Over-cliff near Gravesend and saw him going aboard drunk as a skunk, and he was in no doubt that he was on the controls when it crashed. The next day all the men who worked on the plane had to sign the secrecy document and were transferred to an out-of-the-way place in the very North of Scotland where they serviced the Sunderland's flying cover for North Atlantic convoys.
Cheers Des
