Re: 'Stupid Trump'
Apparently, Donald is not interested in addressing Parliament when he makes a state visit to the UK this summer, it emerged last night.
I was agreeing with him, if he does not want to address Parliament and go up North instead it is his choice ?
I might go to see the cheerleaders from America’s National Football League perform.

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
The 'Trump effect' is no longer reserved just for USA.
Here in Oz we have the 'One Nation Party' started some 20 years ago by a fish shop owner in Queensland, where else?
She did not do so well back then as both major parties hacked her down.
But she is back with a vengeance, the public are flocking to her. According to a Galaxy poll she has some 23% support in WA.
Why, because she is right wing in the shadow of Trump and with 'Brexit' now in full swing the people have come to realize that there are alternative parties who may just be a bit better than the old school tie mob we have all put up with for years.
To the extent that the Liberal party of WA have done a preference deal with her for the next state erection due later this year.
Across the globe there is a mood for change away from the one style of gov with snouts in the trough. France, Germany and a couple of other smaller EU nations all have elections this year. It will be interesting to see how the votes go.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: 'Stupid Trump'
It was in similar circumstances that Hitler came to power. Germany was on the bones of its ass, and the treaty of Versailles drawn up by the allies after 1918 didn't give them much room to manoeuvre, at least that was the excuse drawn up by Germany. In brief Hitler used as the fall guys the Jews the Gypsies and the Communists later on. The rest is history. Today the world is in a much worse situation and countries thinking they are being benevolent have allowed millions more than ever Hitler had to contend with, which was an excuse with him. I do hope however other European countries remember the past and not use the same excuses as he did. The situation of Europe has been self inflicted, those that advocated letting into their countries with very little or no screening will have to pay the penalty, although they will probably leave office and someone else will have to clear the messes they have left behind. The British P.M. as an example will have one hell of a mess left behind by the likes of Bliar and his consorts before and after him. So hope she is man enough to do the necessary, it is usually the women who are left holding the baby in any case in all walks of life. Cheers JS

Now they ask to spare the Midlands' from Donald Trump after reports his state visit could be moved to Birmingham.
I would suggest Scotland, he could pop over to the islands and visit his mums rellies.
Just a thought ?

I would buy him a pint in Cardiff. He would be brave to attend.
Frankly, it is his choice, a rugby weekend would not be best.
