They have been talking about refugees since there was a U.N. They have been talking about the different varieties whether economic or asylum seeking and guess what the talking aint working. It has not stopped refugees in the past, heading for wherever they wish to go and it will not stop them in the future.

What were the Hebrews doing in Egypt that Moses had to take them out of there. That was also a mass exodus at the time. Why did the Hebrews leave Babylon ( Iran ) where they were left to go peacefully. It is history being repeated over so is not something new in todays world. Maybe in another couple of thousand years time all those of different faiths might decide again to go walk about again, its just a pity it couldn't happen a bit faster. I am still a strong believer in strong borders where those who are going to contribute to the country are made welcome, and not fall in to the trap of weepy emotion put out by the so called welcome brigade where every Tom Dick Harry and Mary are made welcome. We are slowly going back to those times where religion was the politics of a country. We ourselves have been through those times and today are a bit more of a self thinking mind. Those who have to refer back to long lost books written by scribes who were the only people who had that talent, and were written down not through their own experiences but by someone telling them what to write, is getting harder and harder to believe, when you see it is because of them that the middle eastern countries are killing each other and have now chosen to kill others. Must have been getting too boring for them. Any religion that adheres and promotes such, should not be considered as such and made illegal in any country that does not adhere to the laws of the country in which they reside. That's where the term Law and Order originated, not in the innards of some scribes mind. JWS

On the news last night, biggest numbers of refugees come from 3 countries.
Somalia, Syria and Afghanistan.

Our PM said we will set a maximum let in of 19,000 by 2020, then the borders may well be closed to any more.
But if the 'Greens' get their way we will have an opne door policy.

John, the problem is that some of these people do not want to live in peace, they are only happy when killing. But as you rightly note any religion that promotes death and harm to others is not one of peace.

John our own Bible in parts promotes such. We have many good and proper Christians however do not follow such inclinations. The ones using the excesses in other Holy Books should be made outcasts by their own people, and until that is done and proved to have been seen done they should be accepted with extreme caution. Up until now they appear to be having a dollar each way on a two horse race. It is an impossible task for the west to change the thinking that has been with them before even our own countries were civilized. It has to come from within, without outside interference. The west should never have become embroiled in the present conflicts which have only escalated since having their input. Another expression to describe would be Too many Cooks spoil the Broth. Going back to Syria I was lead to believe by the Press that their leader was a Tyrant the same as Saddam Hussein, Saddam was got rid of on the theory of Regime change and now look at the country. The same as Syria everyone and the Peggy was shouting for regime change, what the excuse was never bothered to find out was their own business, whoever replaced him had a very good chance of being 10 times worse, so was their own problem. One of the biggest problems in the Middle East and with M^%$s in general is the inbreeding, they marry into their own families, they have just discovered here in Sydney alone there have been about a hundred young girls some as young as 13 who have been sent overseas in the last eighteen months to marry some old fart of an uncle, people are calling for homes to be set up so that these young girls can leave home and hide. So much for integration.
