The fact that all the American luvvies are collapsing in tears just like our lot did when we won the Brexit vote shows why the ordinary Americans have had enough, I think the Donald will be alright, and a lot better for the UK-USA relationship than
Clinton would have been. Trump is not a politician and he hasn't learned the "politicians art" of fooling the electorate into thinking you are somebody that you are not, I say forget the election dirt and give the man a chance. JC

Now the teaching and learning is about to begin, I do not think that his staffers and advisers will let him go off on a half baked tangent.

Exactly Stan, He will have a team of advisers to guide him on his policies and he'll be groomed on his conduct, he'll be ok. JC

The big thing is, he is not beholden to any Backers, who have paid his expenses, He paid his own, now Hillary had many backers who would have wanted Many Favours if she won. so at least it is not corrupt.

Thats right Brian except for paying his tax, "clever bloke", Clinton dragged him through the mud in an attempt to make him
unelectable, while Bill Clinton's "little pleasures" in the white house counted for nothing. I think the country saw through her
act and Trump is the lesser of the two weevils as captain Jack Aubrey so famously said "Master and Commander". JC

That could well be John, he was friend's with her before it all kicked off, in the end I think school kids in the playground could have put up a more constructive debate than either of them did in the campaign. cheers JC

Good luck America.

As the president, Marian I think he will be shown in a different light, Clinton changed the debate into a slanging match by using her lawyers skills in the hope that she would show him up as being unfit to be president, "it backfired on her". JC
