Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
We have a Senator here in Oz who wants a Royal Comission into the M faith to see if it is a faith or just an ideology.
Somehow doubt it will happen but she has the support of almost a quarter of the people behind her.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
You might just as well say the same as any faith John. I can still remember snatches of communion, " I believe in the Holy Ghost, the communion of Saints, and the resurrection of the body". This may mean a lot to some people or nothing at all to others. The parts of any religion that are taken in the full context and are against the laws of that land must be expunged and those who follow be brought to justice as lawbreakers, religious or not and should apply to any so called religion. The Christian Religion itself has in the past committed various acts of Barbary and cruelty, but certainly wouldn't get away with today, they are accountable the same as everyone else. JWS

Our faith our ideology I just basically what we do on a Friday night with our like minded friends is something that you will never alter with a commission a royal commission or any other commission . The big trouble with politics is that all the snouts in the trough want votes and they'll make any outrageous stupid comment they can to get them

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
In our day we saw the world as it was just after a major conflict, we saw poverty and things that would turn the stomach of even the hardest man. We saw the world as it was, boots and all.
Today the younger generations travels but very often see pristine world in many places where political correctness rules, where events such as Christmas are hidden from view for fear of offending others. How can we possibly engender friendly and loving communications when we behave in such a manner?
Those who believe in the 'good with in all' are sadly wrong, there is no such thing!
Since cocky was in the egg there have been good and bad in all men and that will not change.
generations of interbreeding without knowing have in many cases resulted in persons with diminished responsibility.
Trace your family tree and you will find all manner of anomalies in who you may think you are and where you came from.
Man's inhumanity to man now comes to the fore more so than ever with the ability of modern media to be there ae it occurs. We are distressed by it but the fact is events such as this in one form or another have been going on since the days of Adam.
Man will destroy himself nothing is more certain, it is just a question of how and when?
The process with be vastly sped up by the likes of the PC brigade, the Greens, and those of a certain faith who refuse to condemn the events such as we have witnessed over the last few weeks.

#53... Rob any religion abiding in the UK or Australia and Various other countries that allows the likes of fornication with children, the torturing of young females, or having more than one wife, does not deserve to have a blind eye turned to. Those that want to practice such should do so in a country that such is legal, they should be removed pronto. JWS

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
John the only country that took the right approach at the right time was Japan and still do. They stated truthfully that other religions and way of life was a threat to their country and still do. They are allowed 6 months grace, not allowed to marry their women or take up permanent occupation of the country. One never hears clamours from the PC about them, because they did and continue to do it correctly. Anyhow they have a bit more sense and those people also are probably not made welcome. JWS

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
#55 I did say John consenting Adults in private and I record an adult in my opinion is being someone over 21 that is because I am a little bit old fashioned . When it comes to paedophiles and in that I include British residents who wish to practice they're disgusting behaviour in foreign countries I personally believe that they should be given a minimum sentence of castration prayer for relief by an angry mother who has the choice of giving them anaesthesia or not . When it comes to the denigration of others whether it is because they are a woman a slightly weak willed person someone who does not have a full mental capacity then I think but they should be like was punished and I notice with pleasure but the new British Prime Minister Teresa May is pushing forward the suppression of modern-day slavery of which you believe there are thousands in the UK from fruit pickers to housemaid's . In my head the jury is out on multiple marriages whether it is one man and four wives or one woman and for husbands personally I have a very strong belief in the biblical definition of marriage being between one man and one woman anything other than that I believe should not be recognised as a marriage but should be a civil partnership when it comes to multiple partners I have a struggle in understanding why that should happen

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
A few of my neighbours in my avenue have several wives.
The favourite one is the one who wears the niqab, the others are at different levels of looking after the man. when he is tied of the favourite one he will marry another and then she wears the Niqab, the other one is then relegated down the line. and so on. to child minder, to cook and then cleaner. then Out.
Es salaamu-alakum.

Re: Bastille Day Tragedy
They are breaking British law Brian, and nothing is done about it. Shows how purely ineffective one is against any so called religion. The knowledge that one can have religious beliefs does not in my mind say, that the laws governing such can be practiced against the rule of the land. The first British Majistrate who passed the law that a Sikjh was allowed to not wear a motor bike safety helmet was the start of British law failure the rag head had two choices sell his bike, or change the towel, the choice should have been his.
