Re: Jeremy Corbin
Saw it on our news today and still find it har to understand. According to the news some 80% of the Labor MP voted against him yet he is still there!!!!!!!
We change leaders here by a majority of one vote, what sort of a party is he in charge of?

Hi Cappy.
I didn't think there were enough workers left in the UK to warrant a union.
Cheers Des

Cappy I don't believe the unions have a block vote now, each union member has to vote individually if he cares to do so.I was watching older union men on TV the other night and they would certainly not vote for Corbyn, that was in various parts of the country. As it is it is the young people who believe in Corbyns politics and it is them that will back him.

Re: Jeremy Corbin
Cappy whilst the Unions may endorse a candidate their members are not obliged to follow the unions view.Read this article the block vote was done away with by John Smith many years ago.

The myth of the trade union "block vote"
read with interest jim ......but regardless mclusky then has no right to state the unite union supports corbyns stand ...so therefore the statement UNITE AND OTHER MAJOR UNIONS SUPPORT CORBYNS STAND ....IS PURELY MCLUSKYS STATEMENT and therefore not part of the unite union policy......a typical union statement jim to bamboozle the union members perhaps.....regards cappy
