I think Europe is in for a bumpy ride in the next 12 months, what they will try to do is keep the spotlight on the Uk, but that tactic will prove more difficult with their own elections. The tragic attack in Berlin yesterday will only concentrate the people's mind on why this is happening, and will give rise to many more wanting OUT, and reinstatement of border controls. I fear there will be many more of this type of attack, almost impossible to stop, but will surely contribute to the breakup of the EU. The Empress of Europe must see her empire begging to crumble. Since the end of border controls and free movement of people from one country to another, the Terrorists just wander from one place to another unhindered and causing death and mayhem
BUT our RULING THICKOS in Brussels still cannot see it, Hundreds of deaths in france, belgium, germany and still no one cares.

The Schengen agreement has come back to bite Merkel in the bum.
The driver of the truck that ploughed into the Berlin Christmas Market killing 12 and injuring 48, has been named as a Pakistani refugee who had been living in a refugee camp in Germany. He then went to Poland where he stole the truck and then drove it to Berlin where he deliberately drove it into the crowded market. He was apparently known to the German Police for instances of previous crimes.

fully agree with most of the above brian ...but our security people have stopped a lot of terrorist operations before they began .... but i have no doubt one will get through at some stage.......cappy

A terrorist only has to be Lucky once, the Security Service has to be Lucky All the time.

There is only one way to stop slim terrorists, they want to die so they can go to Paradise, they have no fear of death as they will be going to Paradise. Only one thing can stop them going, They have to be buried in Pig Manure.
One of the London bombers was sent back home to be buried, He had a heroes welcome and a big monument on his grave, He went to Paradise. They should have buried him Pig Manure, Problem solved. If they knew that is what would happen they would stop.
If they are not killed then bury them up to the neck in Pig Manure, for 24 hours ,and they can Never go to Paradise.

This is surely another nail in Merkel's political coffin, there is already a lot of disquiet in Germany over the situation caused
by the migrant invasion. I think it highlights how dangerous it can be when one politician can impose their will on a nation

In Merkel's New Year broadcast to her German citizen's she once again spoke of welcoming any and all to come to live in her great country......hmmmmmmm
Last night there was another terrorist attack in Istanbul, a country that has suffered a number of attacks throughout 2016. And this is the country that Merkel and her cohorts want to welcome into the EU and give freedom of movement throughout Europe to all its inhabitants. Not nice. Pity about how Turkey is suffering. Joined a ship once in Istanbul and had a very pleasant stay in a hotel there for 3 days waiting for the ship to arrive.

immigrants should be warned when they want asylum if you do any crime the whole family will be deported and they sign documents as well to say they have been warned ? any being sentenced should know as soon as the prison sentence has finished the same day as the doors open they are kicked out too many getting away with hiding behind human rights /civil liberties and all the race card has to offer the laws and rights are a get out claws in the eu and should be scrapped as soon as we go from the eu.. other countries are wanting a referendum and that's when the eu will collapse on itself ..jp
