Liverpool
Jim and all Liverpudlians,
On the news last night there was a short story about Liverpool in that over the last few years Liverpool has had over 230 major films and TV drama's filmed there, its been used as a backdrop for New York City many times. There was talk of the old Littlewoods Pools building bring turned into a major film studio.
Good luck to the project I say.

Re: Liverpool
WE were on our way up to Eastham and as we were passing the docks just seaward of the landing stage suddenly a car went zooming off the dock edge, landing in a barge moored below. I panicked thinking that someone had inadvertently driven off the quay and along with the pilot we reported a car driving off the dock edge to Mersey Radio. That is when they told us it was a stunt scene for the film "The 53rd State" with Samuel L Jackson amongst its stars. Bloody good film to watch by the way.

Re: Liverpool
With thta and the new cruise terminal it would appear Liverpool is back on the map with a vengence. Good luck to all who reside there and hope it produces plenty of meaningful employment.
