Enough Red tape to sink a ship, and I'm glad that I no longer have to deal with them. Alas the usual suppliers become bliaise and give prolonged delivery dates, which is why I got the job, as could meet the very tight delivery.Would love to see the UK regulars getting all the UK defense jobs but alas they will not put themselves out to meet tight schedules. There are so many items that could be subcontracted to smaller firms who have no need to know what they are manufacturing is for, as long as they are given the correct parameters they can produce it, but of course that is too simple and cheaper

There is now talk by our gov that the new subs will be built here in Oz with local workers but with management of an overseas company. No quite sure how that will work, image a German company trying to us local worker!!
