cappy it was at the time of the dropping of the atomic bomb and a cock up over her coming from one port to another I believe some were in the water for 5 days with the sharks feeding of the sailors must have been hell for the crew watching shipmates just taken and wondering when it was your turn?? jp

HI Cappy.
I took a few sharks teeth home for my young nephew he was about 6 years old, my brother in law took them off him said to me "Don't you know how sharp they are"? then proceeded to cut a thick magazine in half with one, of course I knew,I think.

hello des .....acouple of years ago i was telling my at that time 16 year old grandson about a sharks tooth necklase i had in my misspent to some extent life .......he didnt believe it could shave the hair off your arm .....a friend now living in oz sent me a couple they became a rage amongst his mates.....which like most things die after a while but were always a good talking point.......when in adelaide me and a mate freddy wanless from our street in shields ...swam out to see the shark net in adelaide ......i was ist trip freddie was second trip when i got out there i came back likea rocket there was holes in it you could get a double decker bus through......but as is said it is his home not mine lol regards cappy
