Re: EU
Interesting story in todays Daily Express about the EU.
Monnet the founder and the ideas man behind the EU stated That he EU must be founded on subterfuge. If you were to inform the EU citizens of the ultimate goal (a single state) then they would rise against the concept. His method was to deny, change the stance ever so slightly and press on. If it took a little longer so be it as long as the ultimate goal is achieved the wait would be worthwhile.
So Cameron has no chance, he may appear to win, but the EU will get its way, the absorption of all countries in a single concept UNITED STATES OF EUROPE.

Re: EU
my main point is not weather we stay in or go I personally think we should go as our way of life is quickly being eroded by Europe. its the point were the average person on the street can and should have a say in what should and can be achieved by staying or going ?as it stands now we are being told to many things that are against our/ my views we should not be swamped by migrants we should be able to have our own legal system were people from other lands blatantly take the p,ss for their own gain and although we know what is their game we cannot do anything about it,, bailing out countries with finance that the British taxpayers are footing part of the bill that is not fair to the working people of this land the eu has cost us a hell of a lot mostly our credibility to the rest of the world I am not saying like the old days when we would send in the gun boats and thousands of troops but people that preach hate or cause death by terrorism one should be booted out and the other should hang and if they need a hangman I would put my name down for the position any day when you work hard all year and spend money in a foreign land boosting their economy and you are then murdered on a beach and now its classed as the norm there is defiantly something wrong with the state of the world and I am waiting for the same to happen here in our land? this is just my view.. jp

Re: EU
Hi John.
Fracking for gas destroys the water table that has been proven as a fact out here, The gas company in NSW has been covering up the amount of chemicals they were releasing into the soil. The Vanderbilt s and other old money in America have taken their money out of coal shares and put it into solar energy, the energy of the future they are not stupid, no smog no stuffing the planet up, just clean energy. The sunshine is free. You wont have to rely on Russian sunshine or German sunshine it is there for the taking.
Cheers Des

Re: EU
Interesting comments an having jut returned from London I will say this in regards t what I saw ad heard.
The last gov found it hard to get any traction on the EU issue as it was a coalition one, now a single party with a majority it can do something.
The younger generation and legal migrants will accept the EU as the norm.
London evening papers are now free no longer owned by Murdoch but by a Russia,
Shocked to see in a bank and some shops collection bins for food bank contributions.
Edgeware road from Maida Vale to Marble Arch, from about 1700 hours, sitting on the sidewalk outside each of the 12 phone boxes on that road young Molsem girls with the hand out begging. London, the land of the waving palms.
I was told that if they go home with insufficient monies they get a beating.
I doubt in or out of EU will change such practices.

Re: EU
John I think you will find that the young Moslem girls begging are in fact Romanians masquerading as Moslems. There was a TV show it showed Romanians heading for the mosque after Friday prayers dressed in the headscarf purporting to be moslems and begging, apparently it is known that the moslems are quite charitable to their own poor. These Romas even robbed the headscarfs from outside a shop on the way there.

Re: EU
all the people want is for a change the truth{that would be a first} open the books lay out an honest plan if we stay in we want this if we leave we will get this and so on? I never ever thought there would be the likes of food banks in this country towns and cities where English is a second language begging on the streets yet we send millions that is milked by bureaucrats in other lands make it an offence not to vote over a referendum over the eu and elections this is a very important time for our country and the cuts have gone to far now the country is bleeding rich and poor the gap is growing who would have thought you have a job yet have to go to a food bank to eat the countries shame that they have let the people down badly ? just my view jp

You could well be right Jim but in the part of London where they are I think they may well be Moslems. The area is known as little Lebanon due to the population there so not quite sure exactly who is who.

Re: EU
I know hindsight is a wonderful thing but if in the 70s you could see what is happening now in Europe would we have joined? we where a different breed then now its the norm to be out of work skint no prospects for the young turning our backs on the British empire what was heath and his cohorts thinking when they signed on the dotted line throwing the country down the pan and conning the British people who would ever have thought many at that time went through the war would now be held to ransom by Germany France Italy etc in the 2000s I think it is time for a total re.think of the whole thing? we the British lets be honest we are an arrogant race no one was better than us now we must be the laughing stock of some in the world?? jp
