Judith like many here governments have told the people of great Britain we should and will have a vote on in/out of the eu. I think they are waiting for most of us who have lived at a time before the eu and know the british way of life what is far from what we have now. in 1972 the common market was set up to share our business interests we thought prices would be the same for goods all over Europe which at the time seemed a good idea we turned our back on the commonwealth that was I think a bad thing but we tried it and we failed trading with America was cut to the bone and slowly Europe took over as they are trying to do today. I have said this before the eu is a house of cards if one dropped out the whole thing will fall apart to many member states cant afford the eu club we where supposed to get steel from Europe ship building from Europe coal from Europe oil and gas from the north sea what have we got now steel from India ship building Korea coal some from America and gas well we have to depend on Russia how long have they been a member of the eu?? I look at the eu from this prospective right I give you £100.00 you give me £50'00 back but I cant spend a penny of that money unless you say so? so who's money is it ours or theirs I know some on the site think its a good thing to be in this club and until talks from all sides good and bad get a say we will still have food banks people working but not living so we need the vote for the sake of the future of great Britain. why have a government when the whole thing are puppets of Europe. what in the distant future god forbid there is a war between eu and America who will we fight for it could happen? this is just my view but think about it.... jp

The EU is undemocratic, and hopefully the majority of the people of the UK will reject our membership.

It should be essential that only those holding British citizenship should have a vote, but apparently anyone from the EU resident in the UK is entitled to a vote, including residents from ex Balkan states, Poland and others, they are not going to vote to leave are they, they think they are in heaven. Also I undestand that the residents of Malta and Cyprus are also allowed to vote ?? what am I missing here??

Merkel has achieved what Kaiser Bill and Adolf Hitler failed to do, Control europe.
france is a close second. They have just signed a Pact for close co-operation as they did in WW2 with Vichy france.
You cannot trust any European, they will always stab you in the back,
Britain at a cost of over one million British lives saved most of europe from a Dictatorship, Now they are the Dictators. All those lives wasted, each one a family in mourning , and for what?. we should have given up in 1939.
We traded with the whole of the world before the eu. We had the world`s largest common market, the Commonwealth. They banned us from trading with New Zealand and Australia Bankrupting both countries and with the rest of the world. Countries that sacrificed all their young men in the defence of Britain against German, French and Italian aggression in WW2, Now we fraternise with the enemy against our "Colonial Cousins"
.Every year I travel all around the world and all I see now on docksides are millions of Containers with HAMBURG SUD painted on the side. and delivered in german ships.
I have never seen a British Cargo ship for years. or a British Container.
Every British Politician should be hanged for Treason for getting us into this mess.
As far as I am concerned Europe should be used as a Nuclear Testing ground. and I know people will object to what I have just said.
Lets make Britain Great again. get rid of the bloodsucking leeches of Europe,
    Brian.

Interestingly, The producer and Script Writer. Of that piece is a well known UKIP supporter. Trevor Colman, He has done other short productions on the similar theme. But also interestingly only yesterday with Cameron having such a slender majority in Westminster a group calling themselves the 50 club all Tory back benches have made it clear that if Cameron does not get German Chancellor Merkel to give more sanctions to G.B. They will force his hand on an in out referendum, As has been said we don't belong to Europe we don't share there currency, We are locked into the trading sanctions, That's true but who's doorstep would you lay that on. It has to be number 10 although it was Ted Heath who marched us into the single market on the belief that it was a better way forward for Britain, Consecutive governments have allowed us to be sucked into the biggest problem this country faces and that's free movement of Europeans and opening the flood gates for migrants most of whom don't give a monkeys for the situation Britain faces or the deficit of the country. Because at the end of the day they can just hit and run back to the life they lived before. Where as Brits we are left to pick up the pieces we cant run away anywhere this is our country and forgetting yours or mine politics' for a post or two I honestly don't think there is anything we can do about the situation. Or any political party for that matter, So its austerity forced upon the nation to bring the deficit down 25% Police, 25% Public services, And massive cuts in welfare which as we all know will fall mostly on the disabled, The deficit is still rising by the day and will do so for a long time to come. Answer............... Get out of the E.U. and its collapse asap. And instead of Cameron wasting his time talking to blank faces who wont give Britain anything, Get back to basics and close the doors to migration have a good empty out and start rebuilding bridges with the Commonwealth trade. Its not an easy task because a lot has changed take a look at who former colonies trade with, That itself brings its own problems, And why should they trade with G.B. We made our decision back in 1972 when we found black gold in the North sea we were all going to be millionaires and reap the rewards the country over, An old Chinese saying comes to mind A RISING TIDE WONT LIFT EVERY BOAT !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Havent as of yet watched right through, just the first half which agrees with what I have said all along. To me the big and massive money loser and which any country with any backbone is not going to accept is the Euro Parliament, this is just a continuation of Hitlers plan in another form. It is another form of Fascism or Communism if one looks at it in a certain way. To go in to a Free Market may be ok. To have a European Parliament who make the laws for supposedly all is not. Anyone who votes to stay in the EU deserves everything they get and is no use complaining later about dodgy politicians who have the ethics of used car salesmen. Every country should be responsible to its own people. For those politicians who put the UK in the position it is in today are enemies of Britain and deserve only scorn, as went behind the peoples backs and were not capable of the high position they were entrusted with. Greece is only the start, to me it is obvious who has the intentions of running Europe, and if the British people elect to go along with a bunch of countries who for the past 300 years have always shown the capabilities of biting the hand that feeds them, then so be it. The European Parliament must have no say whatsoever in the running of Britain, if they do you might as well hand over the keys to Buckingham Palace. JS
