Re: Prince Charles Private Letters
#60 Des your observations very interesting. As said in a previous post met both for a brief moment in time, a lot of us try to weigh up a person on first meeting, my feelings and personal observations were they were not suited together and whether they had just had an argument over the corn flakes that morning is their business and being their own business would not demean either by talk. However as I said I found Prince Charles as probably as nervous as I was and he certainly made the effort to be sociable. JS Further to that Blairs wife a number of years ago was visiting the new (then) maritime museum in Fremantle. The wife and self passed these two ladies with a number of kids with them trailing behind them were two men with small haversacks. I thought one of the ladies looked familiar and asked the wife did she recognize after a few moments she said it was Cheryl Blair, she looked like just another Aussie Shiela. We were the only 2 people in the museum who picked them out, and while Cheryl Blair was quite boisterous most there must have just put it down to another girl with a loud voice. Afterwards it was in the paper that she was staying with friends in the area. The two with back packs trying to be inconspicuous were probably bodyguards who apart from a possible bottle of whiskey for their nerves having to listen to a strident voice all day were probably carrying weapons. She made absolutely no impression on me, and was probably used to an audience, someone should have told her that even PMs past and present do not receive that in Australia. The only crowds I have seen out here as regards personalities are pop stars and members of Royalty. Cheers JS

Marian, £15 a head what did that get me and the wife at Ricky's green rooms,
1, As you enter the lounge of the club you are seated on leather chairs and given a glass of bubbly,
2, When you have finished and possibly met and spoke to him if he is there no problem, You get escorted to your table inside the club,
3 Ricky only employs local young people most of whom are learning to be performers in his partly owned arts academy across the road from his club,
4, You never move from your seat, It is all waiter service by the same boys and girls,
5, Ricky only ever sells 300 tickets for a show why!!!!!!!!! Because it only seats 300 people,
6, I pay maybe 15 pence more for any drink than at my local,
7, Some of the acts we have seen that do a 2 hour show with a half hour break. As you may fancy a tray of sandwiches £8, And well worth it,
The Real Thing, Tavares, The Drifters, The Stylistics, ETC.. Before them you are entertained always by a top Liverpool comedian, 1 hour,
8, After the show closes about midnight, The resident D,J, Takes over and if you have the energy you can rock the clock until 2am and get a drink,
9, I have never and been quite a few times seen trouble in the club,
10 I may have spent £70 and £20 would have been on taxi fares, A brilliant night had by all, As you leave if you want the security escort to your cab.
I would rather that than send out for a Chinese at the cost of about £30. Terry.
Lets not forget socialist or not he is Royal Family
