OPinions
Do have to express Doc I do think it was a tad premature to close Des's thread on drugs. It was posted less that 36 hours ago and was the only thread open to the entire forum to debate this current issue. As Brian stated in John's thread this afternoon, a class A drug apparently the largest haul ever in Britian was apprehended in UK waters, surely a topic still open for discussion.....

Re: OPinions
Hi Marion.
Thank you for that, I put the thread clear of MN as I don't think it would have been appreciated there. I realize that Vernon has a job to do as a moderator, and I suppose the subject is a bit delicate for some, but it did have interest and will continue to be a debated in Aus; at least for nine days,or until the press get tired, or finds the new one in China where an Australian/ Kiwi is on trial for his life over the same thing, to their liking.
Cheers Des.

Re: OPinions
Des it has been recorded in the press that there are about 40 or more Australians in parts of the world all on execution lists for drug trafficking.
I do agree it is tough for Vernon but I trust his judgement when I comes to posting on site .However if it was maybe in scuttlebutt those that want to can reply.
Drugs are the biggest concern for any country now.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: OPinions
There is an English woman drug smuggler waiting for execution in Indonesia, so far No clamour for leniency on our side of the water.
