Russian trawler sinks
A big Russian Trawler with 123 people on board has sunk off Kamchatka in the Pacific, 54 confirmed dead.
May have hit ice. A big ship 5,400 tons. 105 metres in length. looked like a Factory ship as well as Trawler.
Cheers

Re: Russian trawler sinks
Was on a similar design of vessel the Seaboard Illustrious a stern trawler converted to an oil recovery vessel. Was a very nice ship inside the accommodation, is hard to believe is so easy to go down. Seamen somewhere in the world die every day of the week, but it brings it home to you when so many go at one time. JS
