jim in one of the tribunals i attended ......of which i never got a soliciter i was asked to swear an oath .....putting my hand on a book on the desk in front of me i was immediatly asked in a loud cocky voice was i a moslem to which i replied just as cockily .....no way sir to which he replied with a large smirk on his face well get your hand off the koran then .......ihad been ready with myside of the story and had nearly got a judges wig for myself ......the wind quickly went from my sails ......and my perry mason attack faltered before it began .....i lost the tribunal ...although the laziest west indian i ever employed.....who had not come to work and could not be contacted any way at all for over a month won and got 6 months wages .......i decided at this stage i was not meant to be a brief as telling the truth didnt work ...........never met any employer who won in the 80s ........this has now changed and common sense seems to reign......aha another word where I before E is not correct in reign learning still even today.....regards cappy

My pet gripe that here in Oz and maybe Britain none of them are required to pay taxes.

When I worked for the Magistrates Committee we had to install special shelves for the Koran. It was not allowed to be on the same shelves as other religious books. In fact their religion deemed that the Koran must be placed higher than other books.

the question must be asked the religion of ***** is based on peace so why all the fuss its only one holly book in possibly hundreds so is this just another loophole to jump through by lawyers this is a Christian country foremost we have a queen that is the defender of the Christian faith we the british Christians are slowly being pushed to one side what is going to happen when this murderer who is beheading people how will our justice system handle all the barristers that will be defending him and yet ordinary people with genuine cases cannot even get legal aid..that is the travesty that is british law .. jp
