Funny isn't it as the net closes in on all these Tories for fiddling millions attention is drawn to Ed Balls over a £10 receipt. It will be interesting to see if the crowd who have fiddled millions can produce receipts,I wont hold my breath. The whistleblower says he has a million more names.

Jim,tax avoidance is not illegal, evasion is. A number if Labour donors, have used avoidance schemes. Even Milliband has used it to avoid paying tax.
The Labour party and the Unions use schemes to lessen the amount of tax they pay. I am not picking on the left, just showing how hypocritical they are.

To be honest with you take politics out of it for the moment.I watched this guy from the Tory party come on after Milibands speech about apprenticeships. This Tory guy wanted to know what was Miliband talking about in the past 5 years since we have been in power we have created millions (I forget the figure) of apprenticeships,I wish I had've been there to confront him.The apprentice jobs that have been created is just a title that is being used by the unscrupulous employers for cheap labour it works out at about £2.25 per hour and is not an apprenticeship atall,I've said in the past about the jobs my grandson was sent for interview for with the title apprentice nothing but a fiddle to rip a kid off.
    Regards.

I've just been checking one of the apprenticeship sites would you believe a bleddy apprenticeship in Poundland I ask you.

All apprenticeships have always been cheap labour, in fact prior WWII it was not uncommon for parents to pay to have their offspring follow the apprenticeship path, especially seagoing apprenticeships. I know I worked 16/18 hours a day from sailing UK to return UK for a pittance, so what! it didn't do me any harm in the whole spectrum of my life, in fact made me determined to improve my life once it was over and done with. Prior my apprenticeship I was working on deep water trawlers for no wages, relying on my inbuilt hard work ethic, putting the hours in and reaping the rewards when the crew got paid their 'fish money'. Times may have changed but apprenticeships were never ever about being paid top dollar whilst serving an apprenticeship, no doubt exocets will be winging their way towards me!
