Re: Poverty, dont know they are born today.
Hi Terry.
a lot of Business Tax evasion happened on Labours watch when Laurel and hardy, Miliband and Balls were in the treasury and Balls was the CITY MINISTER, twixt 2005 and 2007.
They did Nothing to stop it. in fact it increased.
Cheers
Brian.
I am off now for my vacation from money I worked bleddy hard for and then invested in shares after I retired, this investment keeps people in a job,
. I could have blown it on fags and in the alehouse making a landlord rich and been broke today like some mates of mine. who had the same chance, now they complain they cannot do what I am doing, and I did tell them years ago.
Cheers
Brian

Hi Jim
this is the bio of my school mate Joe Foster.who I used to run with, There is a photo of him at the bottom he is now the granddad of Rachel who wrote the article. They only had that small shop in Gilnow road when Joe was with me. But he had to work hard all through the trade to learn, it was not an easy ride.
It was Joe and Jeff who really created the business.

Re: Poverty, dont know they are born today.
We had a PM here, Rudd the dud, he introduced a super profits mining tax.But he forgot one thing, BHP and others can afford to employ the worlds smartest accountants who will find ways to avoid tax, ways the gov have not even bugun to imagine. The tax is now gone in the three years it was in it raised less then half a billion in tax.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Agree, Brian, I never mentioned the labour party mate you did. But it was Cameron who fell asleep at the wheel, In giving Stephen Green HSBC boss a job in his cabinet as trade Minister, Have a great holiday Terry.
