Why ???

Can anyone say Why during the present conflicts with ISIS where different countries have some of their Nationals taken prisoner by ISIL and publicly executed and shown on national television to audiences all round the world, that this apparently is shown at various governments permission to do so. I would of thought that ISIS or whatever terrorist group is doing such is more for the propaganda and fear intended and all of such is to their advantage. Apart from the grief this must impose on these poor individuals relations and colleagues, wouldn't it be better to bar as much as possible of all this visual reporting of such and trying to blank of as much as possible all these propaganda and attributes these murdering sods get from such open viewing, should to my way of thinking be blanked off. We are fighting a war once again with one hand tied behind the back. The only news coming out of a governments mouth in the case of war, should be spoken communiques given when necessary and deprive the enemy of any advantage to propaganda, shut them off to the world as a non entity. At least fight a war without the media having such an input. Or is this going against a persons libertys the way things are going, if at the same thinking levels, people will soon have no libertys in any case. I have no idea what army and forces chiefs are in charge or is it a a political level that such obviously terrorist led propaganda is allowed to be aired. JS

Couldn't agree more John, I recall the piece of crap that walked into a nursery school in Dunblane Scotland and randomly executed 16 young babies and a nursery teacher a few years ago, I rang a local radio station here on Merseyside and suggested that the press or newspapers in my opinion shouldn't even print his name let alone a picture of him on the grounds that after the act he took his own life, And by doing so you are giving him the notoriety that he yearned, There was hundreds of calls to the late evening presenter who agreed with me. The inquiries in the aftermath overseen by Baron William Cullen, Brought in big changes to gun laws across the U.K. And just like the atrocities you mention by ISIS, They should not be given the media coverage which is seen as a trophy in there eyes. I found it interesting that we could actually be given exact numbers of people who have travelled from different countries in Europe to Syria expected of being radicalised, And regarded a threat to national security or likely would be terrorists, WHY!!!!!!!!!!!!! Are they allowed back in Europe at all. One even faked his death and entered through the back door. And guess who has the greatest number of expected radicles in Europe back in there country. John, This is something I can never get my head around, When N.A.T.O. Calls for a summit or meeting on any subject you will see all the member states flags flying side by side, Why cant they stand side by side when they are all threatened in this way, Britain and a few others have done at least something to bite back................ Where are the rest !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! When it comes to making a stand there are 28 member countries yet it seems like its the 12 founder countries that are the only ones prepared to confront this problem. As you say this is a world wide war against terrorism not just a minority know one is immune to the threat ISIS Presents. Terry.

#4 Ted, many of the 28 of the EEC have a major ****** population and if you widen the net to include NATO then the ****** factor increases and you will find that these ****** countries are reluctant to take issue with other ****** countries because it will cause fraction with the different sects within those ****** countries.

Hi John.
The Saudi King has just died, look who goes over there to sympathize, Prince Charles, Obama.
Cameron etc. In Saudi Arabia last year 48 people were beheaded, this year already there have been 14 including a foreign woman worker who was fitted up for murder she was held down by three policemen while another cut her head off, taking three strokes to do it. Now while I'm all for the death penalty for various crimes some of these are for political descent. Saudi Arabia are not only financing the terrorists, where do they think all the Isis arms are coming from including British arms to the terrorists via the Saudi's, where else could their massive amounts of arms be coming from, they can isolate countries like Iran who the Saudi's hate but can't isolate the Isis
I think there are many countries gaining from this war like they did in Spain in the civil war there.
