Re: The Price Of Emigrating To Oz.
sitting here tonight, new years eve, minus 8 c, have had no snow to speak of for about a month now. but as sure as god made little green apples it's acoming. unlike dennis, who likes to drive around the " island" with the convertible top down, the envie of the rest of the country this time of year, and every now and then lets the rest of us know what the weather is like and how the fishing is going on the west coast. maybe, when I landed in montreal in 1964, had more money in my pocket, could have taken the train west, "go west young man and seek your fortune", instead of bitching about the weather here in good old Ontario. still, love every waking day in this great country, it's been good to me and my family, proud of what my children and the ex have achieved over the years. by far the best decision I made to uproot and leave my country of birth.
to dennis and everyone living on the west coast, live the dream, I envy you.
to everyone else where ever you dropped your anchor and paid off, I wish you all a very happy new year and bountiful harvest in 2015.
regards, stan and brenda
