Re: Heavy Rain
Saw that on our TV News Vernon,
, Just look on the Bright side, while it is raining no bush fires,
Tho` I do appreciate the results of such storms and heavy rain with floods and damage to homes, etc,
Do hope Des is OK in Cooma, Water flows down there from the Snowys, having been there.
You do get extremes of weather, very hot with fires and storms and floods.
Thinking of you all down there.
Good Luck
Brian
.
PS I have just read the two links you have put on, worse than I thought, Yes hope Des hasn't been washed out looks pretty bad there..
I also noticed that Kiama was badly hit by the tornado, Just by my niece whoo lives by Lake Illawarra near Kiama, I will phone her tomorrow to see if she is OK.
Thanks for the News Vernon.

Re: Heavy Rain
Well John for her sake I hope so too!
Not nice coming all this way to a wet and dreary old Xmas
may just as well stay there!
But I am sure things will get better!
Last Nights News also now predicts that Australia could well get up to 10 degrees above the average this coming Summer!
Boy oh Boy no place for Woy Woy! LOL!
But yes it seems it is on the cards!
Egads! don't know how we will cope!
That would put some places in the 50 Degree mark!
Now that's hot!
Cheers

We were having some great weather here in Melbourne, warmest spring for years. Then it came, from the East where all the bad weather comes from, rain and more rain and where did it originate, yes you guessed it, bloody sydney!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Heavy Rain
HI Vernon and friends.
Yes we had some terrific rain 65 mls in about six hours, then steady rain for twelve hours. The wife was frightened that the roof would fail it was so heavy, we are on high ground so were safe, but our son lives about thirty yards from Cooma Creek it was racing that fast didn't have time to build up. One thing the dams should be full for awhile.
Thanks for your concern.
Cheers Des
