Re: Silent Majority
Richard#2, there has been talk here in Vic of some form of testing for older drivers but doubt it will even eventuate. The civil liberties group will not condone such events.
Here in Oz we have waht is known as 'compulsory voting' I have tried without any luck to get the wording changed. What the act means is that on polling day you must attend a polling station and have your name registered. There is no one holding a gun to your head when, and if, you decide to fill in the voting slip. With this comes a 'how to vote card' so that the preferences are distributed as the member you vote for wishes. The crazy thing is the one you vote for may not win because the preferences have gone to another. First past the post does not always work here. With all of that in place we still get more than our share of D heads. Currently the feral gov is held up in the upper house by a group of 5 the leader of which is one of the nations richest men, owns a number of iron mines.
My local MP does reply to letters I send, however the feral one obviously does not own a pen, no matter the subject he just refuses to reply. But to be fair to him, all his mail is of course opened by one of his staff and if they do bnot like the contents he will not get to see it. I suspect the same applies in UK. But do not be confused by thinkinbg compulsory voting will improve your situation in UK, it will not.

Happy daze John in Oz.

Re: Silent Majority
#12- re your erotic fantasies Louis, methinks you're confusing our Home Secretary with Maggie May, the Lovely Liverpool Lass who certainly aroused sailors passions, but honestly, looking at a recent picture of the lady, you're more likely to be experiencing nightmares, not bedroom games.

Re: Silent Majority
Hi shipmates,HI Marian {Many a fine tune played on an older fiddle} Many older ladys today are still very hot and very heatlh, practice makes perfect. I am sure Theresa MAY could rock my socks anytime if she was in the mood. I should be so lucky...
