I spoke to the great man once when I brought the Northern Ireland football team from London Airport to Wembley Arena. I had just drawn up to let the team off when he came on to the coach and said to me: "Jist drap them aff here son an a'll see tae them" in his broad Scottish accent. We had a few words together which I will never forget.
