Re: Apologies!
I've had three dislikes today and have been trying to find out where they came from, up to now without any luck.

Look no further than a few disgruntled and disappointed members of your flock of sheep.

Re: Apologies!
More likely if need be to: Rate this thread ?
Adding dislikes openly will lead to strife, there is enough of that already, better off with a kiss and make up button ? Ha Ha. K

Re: Apologies!
With all due respect here Lads,i am not sure as to what work would involve taking the Dislike Icon away,i have a feeling that when Damien was working to fix a few problems that we had,and setting up the new Data Base etc, this would have incorporated the Dislike Icon!?
He has done a heck of a lot of work here in that last few Weeks, and I am sure needs a rest now!
My suggestion is just take no notice of any dislikes given,i am sure no one would like to start any unpleasantness,on this issue.
I do however agree that the dislike button isn't too good a thing here!
And I also recall a while back about it not being a good thing, but as said it may just be something that comes with the new Database setup.
But the site works well no matter what!
Don't think a vote is the order of the day here on it,i think if many don't want it then perhaps just send an Email or Notification to Brian asking about this!
As said although I do agree on the removal,it does'nt matter one way or the other to me, if I get any dislikes I just shake it off like water off a Ducks back LOL!
Be Happy Chappies! haha!

Re: Apologies!
#As mentioned by others it seems probable that the button is being pressed by mistake, and I shall maintain that charitable thought. I know if I don't like anything, I ignore it, or if it warrants a different point of view I post it, which is what happened in the Mess/Saloon. I was going to say not many sensitive souls went to sea and then I remembered UCL !!
