Re: Gay Marriage
The dirty sods , I bet that was an early sin . If you go on to Methuselah's son Lamech in Genesis 4:9 then Lamech took to himself two wives: the name of the one was Adah, and the name of the other, Zillah , not one man to one woman either , it is these Biblical anomalies that make people believe in " Adjusting " accepted interpretations . But in my understanding God knows we are not perfect . My attitude is the Church I attend would never conduct Gay ceremonies , that suits me , Some Churches will . I object to others thoughts , often the minority being forced in the majority . One instance was the boarding house keepers last year whose beliefs were against homosexuality , they were perseuted for their beliefs by the courts because they did not let a room in their house to a gay couple . That level of enforcement starts to turn a nanny state into a police state . We are all entitled to our views , but I don't force my views on the world , why should I have other's views forced on me . I have little bother about gays , but I personally cannot stand Camp behaviour , it does not ring my bell

Re: Gay Marriage
I see some of the London buses carry an Advert that says"Some people are Gay.Get used to it". I didn't see one with an Ad that said "Most people are straight,Gays get used to it." Why are they so in your face all the time.

Re: Gay Marriage
"gays" seem to think they have the right to interfere with everyone elses lives. If they kept quiet about it no one would bother, but they are always screaming for attention.
They say it is their sexual preference so they have rights.
So what if Paedophiles say, It is our sexual preference, so we want our rights too and started to campaign like the "gays" do. would they make that legal too??
If "gays" want to be left alone to do the obnoxious things they do to each other, then just keep a low profile, keep quiet and not flaunt it. and do what they have to do behind closed doors. and everyone would be happier.
Brian.

THE FUTURE AND PRIDE:
German cemetery sets aside 'lesbian-only' burial area after gay women's group called for somewhere for them to 'live together in the afterlife'
Lutheran Georgen Parochial cemetery reserved for up to 80 lesbians
'Lesbian community can live together in the afterlife,' says association
Someone somewhere is going to have to get use to it ?

We have the same in Torquay I find it offensive, if we reversed it and said Gays get used to us, we would be prosecuted

Re: Gay Marriage
When you consider that lobby , there are a couple of places where supposed minority groups are over represented , that is the media , TV presenters in particular , and in Parliament
In 2011The Integrated Household Survey, produced by the Office of National Statistics, gives the following figures for the period April 2011 to March 2012:
1.1 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 545,000 adults, identified themselves as Gay or Lesbian.
0.4 per cent of the surveyed UK population, approximately 220,000 adults, identified themselves as Bisexual.
0.3 per cent identified themselves as ‘Other’.
3.6 per cent of adults stated ‘Don’t know’ or refused to answer the question.
0.6 per cent of respondents provided ‘No response’ to the question.
2.7 per cent of 16- to 24-year-olds in the UK identified themselves as Gay, Lesbian or Bisexual compared with 0.4 per cent of 65-year-olds and over.
So the Worst case scenario , or , best case scenario is no more than 5% of the population are " Gay " So out of 550 MPs there should be a maximum of 32 Gay ones , at least 25 MPs are declared as openly gay , so I suspect the real figures are much highjer than the demographic dictates
