Could not agree more, he was inspirational for the whole nation, i did not have a lot of time for Maggie Thatcher, but she was what we needed at the time of the Falklands, she was decisive, and didnt ponce about at that time KT

Why has poor Lou been ostracised in his summary, no thanks given/received (although I have given as have many) no likes given (although again given) etc and in addition to that his mother stopped him sailing on the 'Belray', hope you checked it's voyage records Lou, it may still have been a wise decision.
