Unfortunately I couldnt pick up the photos of the art, dont know why.
It would be interesting to know how many similar places in other countries including the UK are holding similar sort of wonderful artifracts squirilled away from the general public A lot of local councils in this country are holding priceless paintings and other works of art in vaults or banks without the knowledge of the likes of ourselves.

Yes Jim, The mine is at Winsford, Cheshire. Ive actually been down them but it was long time ago, it really is amazing there were roads, vehicles, traffic lights just like being above ground but the temperature always remains the same , I cann't remember what it was now but i remember it being cool. Its main function is still salt mining but storage is taking a big part of it now i believe.
