We don't have many industries in this area, but we do have high technology centres exporting sophisticated equipment around the world, high production market garden produce, a vibrant fishing industry, which would be better if the French and Spanish were not given our quotas by the EU. Yes the grokels are welcomed by the locals they keep us going during the summer (and beyond) so that we can survive the sparse winter months, but even these traditionally slow months are starting to pick up with increased facilities being offered. This part of the country is well visited by French/Dutch/German/Japanese and films like 'War Horse' have made people aware that it is a nice part of the country with good food and local produce. All I ask is please don't sit in my deckchair!!
Ivan, it is good to see that you have a pride in your part of the country and want it to do well, good luck with all ventures.

Re: Invasion
Polish is now the second language of this country ahead of Punjabi and Urdu, with over half a million people speaking Polish as their first language.Figures also show 140.000 people living in England and Wales cannot speak English, while around 726.000 had a weak grasp of the language. In all neither English or Welsh are the main languages for about 4 million residents,or 8% of the population.http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk...l-8472447.html.

Re: Invasion
Contract caterers should be held to account, ask in your firms eaterie if the meat is halal, generally told all our meats are halal, this includes schools, hospitals etc. I think we should have a choice. K.
