Richard, That puts you almost as neighbours with my Margaret. She lived in Suttie Road Bellevue Hill all her young life. She would catch the New South Head Road tram to Double Bay, walk up Manning Road, the next one along from your Edgecliffe Road, and across Cooper Park to Suttie Road. Huntley's Point jutted out into Harbour overlooking Lane Cove.

Sydney is not what we remember as youngsters and I prefer to remember it as it was. I used to love walking all around the City jumping on and of the trams. I like what you say about Paris. I had a wonderful Easter there in 1950. Stayed in a pension in Montmarte and walked and walked, sometime hopped onto the Metro.
