depends what you want john?. disrali went to school in enfield(now the railway station) raliegh put his cloak down for queen liz in baker street, queen liz spent her school days in enfield, henry v111 used to hunt in enfield chase,he also started the small arms and gunpowder factory, bruce forsyth used to live in enfield as did a few other personalities, reg varney was one

Speaking of Bob Hope which Keith was, he lived in Eltham South East London in Creighton Road. There is now a Blue Sign outside the house.
Not long after WW2 a cousin of my mother lived with her husband in that house for three years. Some years late my brother and his family lived in the one next door.

This bust of William Ewart Gladstone is opposite the park where John Pruden walks his dog.Gladstone was born in Liverpool but lived and was educated in Seaforth.And of course the captain of the Titanic lived just down the road from here at Waterloo,also other Titanic connections.
