    Default Getting a bit crowded

Yesterday I listened to a UK corespondent on the radio and his comments were not good.

According to the last UK census the current population is about 63 million, a number the country is only just managing with.
Population experts say that if the current level of imigration and birth rate continue then by 2100 the population will be about 173 million.

How would a country the size of UK cope with such numbers, how would the feed them, and how would the infrastructure hold up?

There is the possibility we may not be here to see this, but what of grand children and their children, how will the manage with such congestion?
    Happy daze John in Oz.

Life is too short to blend in.

We can blame the crazy pratts that dreamed up the European Union for this, when the members number 28-29 different countries or whatever it is, did they not think that the poorer members of the union, on very low wages and poor living conditions would not gravitate to the wealthy countries?, its only what you or i would do in the same circumstances . In the same manner when free travel between countries became law, did they not think that we would take our vehicles over the channel and load up with cheap cigs and booze. There has been no real thought put into these problems, until it actually arises. We are run by bloody schoolboys, KT

Most of these immigrants have no allegiance to Britain. They will just use us for their own ends.
Britain was critisised yesterday for not wanting to take in some of the two and a half million refugees from Syria .
These people are `Mthingies`, they are supposed to be freezing in snow. It is also our winter and a lot of people are freezing here.
Why dont they go to Saudi Arabia, the richest nation on earth, where it is nice and warm with ready built mosques and the same religion and at the same time it is the Saudis who are behind the uprising in Syria. This is just another ploy to spread them around the world. None of the "do gooders " condemn the other `Mthingy` countries.
So what is going on. Why condemn Britain. why doesnt Argentina take them in or Peru. or Botswana or China or Pakistan or Bangladesh or other countries , always Britain.

To cap it all there are now calls for us to take in loads of Syrian refugees. I know that there is tremendous hardship amongst this war torn country but why should we be forced into taking thousands of them into our already over crowded country with its creaking welfare system?
In total the whole of the EU has agreed to take around 1000 refugees, a mere drop in the ocean. Yet, as said, there is talk of us being badgered into taking in thousands. The U.K. has to date contributed 500 million in aid which is more than the rest of Europe put together. The 500 million is Government aid, on top of that there is the millions in charitable aid we have given.
Sorry but however desperate the plight of the Syrians is, taking thousands of them into the U.K. will not fix the problem. The Syrians themselves have to sit down and sort out their own problems. The rest of the world can assist them with Aid and advice but we should not become a dumping ground for all their refugees, the majority of whom just want to live peacefully in their own country.

do not panic mr strange, we are planting rice as fast as we can.

syria is being supplied with arms by Iran and Russia among others. there has been no mention of them taking syrian refugees. saudi, jordan, kuwait, pakistan, nearly all ****** countries, let them shoulder the burden.

Cameron has been giving Aid to the Al Qeda backed rebels. the same organisation who are killing our troops in Afghanistan.
Three years ago, there were NO refugees from Syria, Then the wahabis of saudi, backed Al Queada, financialy and with weapons and training to attack Syria to turn it into a `Isthingy` state.
So that is their problem Not a British one.
Refugees should go to saudi, it is warm plenty of mosks and plenty of money in saudi.

2100 I think that the world will take care of all of us by that time . it became overpopulated some time ago according to the news it wont be able too feed everyone . if Britain will have that many people what about the rest of he world , I think the end of the human race days will be something like the demise of the dinosaur age some mega disaster will get rid of us all and the world will start over with some new species , practice makes perfect .

Hi shipmates,The dumping ground of the E.U thats us the U.K. we are not just over-crowded, we have gone passed that stage , only the illegals are doing well here, The beneifit system cant cope with the numbers see universal credit and I.D.S. for more details. Syria has many friends in the middle east who are helping them, The U.K. gave them £500 million+ The Saudies can take millions of Syrians in there country and look after them they benefits are much higher and the hospital are much less crowded with better care for all than the U.K why would they want to come here???????
