Re: Strange times
The world day by day increases in its madness. War of any kind will continue as long as someone can make money out of it. I see the USA is now going to keep troops in Afghanistan for longer than first thought, well it will keep the army employed and keep the munition factories going.
Spying is as old as prostitution, it will never end but who spies on whom is what matters. We as citizens are all spied on each and evry day, but those in power, MP and the like are members of an exclusive club where no one can be wrong or caught out doing something wrong.

Privacy... the only thing I worry about re privacy is the vinegar strokes. Everything else I couldn't care less. In fact would like to see everyones DNA on a world computer, only those with guilty consciences would not want. Privacy what is that to give up to prevent terrorism, I would also like to see the death penalty brought back, if they cant get a hangman phone me up. John Pierrepoint Sabourn

Re: Strange times
Yeah replied to yesterday. First public flogging tomorrow. Hanging following day, just a running bowline good enough will slowly strangle in any case. Any problems Brian will volunteer hopefully with a firing squad. If still alive may have to drown the git. Awaiting now a 6 months trial period for the job. Although haven't seen the job advertised yet. You can be his chaplain if you like as know you are into those things. Cheers John Sabourn PS Just in case the email yesterday didn't reach you was in answer to the 2 you sent confirming receipt of information asked you for. If you see a dark car outside your house cappy with tinted windows, you may now being getting bugged and all emails sitting in front the MI6 director. Print this message and swallow, it will also self destruct in 3 minutes. Hope it doesn't damage your computer. Don't suppose youll be moving now before the good weather comes back. Don't know how Pat puts up with you especially after your promises about new house. Best to both of you. Cheers JS

I served over 40 years in the Merchant Navy. It was my life and my education. I saw great wealth and great poverty, that is why my mind is open.
If I have anything to say I will say it, I do not need you to tell me where to live.
