I introduced three 16 camera systems into a factory , we solved a few mysteries , like a locker room thief , a driver or two who caused damage , and various random thefts of stock , drinking alcohol at work was another good one too . My view on CCTV is an honest man has nothing to fear from it . We were bought up on a World where honesty prevailed . One man who clocked in his partner even though she was home and not turning to work that Saturday on overtime , denied it until shown the pictures , then he said he forgot she wasn't with him that day . If cameras save one old lady from a mugging bring them on !

in my factory in leeds we had a camera outside the loading bay ........we sometimes had big cardboard containers of cloth cutoffs to small to be any good,,,,,,,at teabreak we would mark the containers ......wrangler jeans 32 to 38 waist ......and put them outside the loading bay ......within an hour or so the dross would appear.......bring back a mate or 2 and scuttle away blue in the face with the weight of the carton ,,,,,,it gave me a very great satisfaction....to see them breaking a ballock for nix

Its a wonder they didn't sue you Cappy for false information. I''ll bet there are even Lawyers today would take the case on. I think the law is always on the side of the criminal. I like the U.S. way where you can shoot someone you think is a danger to your good health. Are you in the Anderson Shelter yet. Will certainly give these wind farms a go , if they turn them on. That s why they have Lakes ther, it never stops raining. I had my honeymoon there at the Swan Hotel, Newby Bridge, never stopped raining. could have stayed at home and saved a fortune.

    Cappy, John and Brian.
You mentioned hotels in the Lakes, which is where I grew up and drank in all those mentioned.
Even more amazing my nephew is Manager of the big hotel in Ambleside and started off his career in hotel management at the Swan hotel, the owners of whom also own the one in Ambleside plus one more.
    No mates rates though.
